"Super location. Really friendly and helpful staff. Amazing breakfast choices and beautiful restaurant for breakfast. Only negative thing about the hotel was the lift...it was absolutely tiny and quite grubby - not at all in keeping with the reception, bar and restaurant areas."

"Beautiful building and decor. Very historic, great breakfast. Very good service and nice staff. The only.minor issues would be that our room didnt have mixer taps on washbasin but i guess thats prt of the heirtage look. The mattress in my room caused me to constantly roll to the middle of bed so obviously worn unevenly so perhaps they need to flip the mattresses around every few month. Swimming pool.was good, just wished it had a sauna even if a small.one as pool was not busy. Overall an excellent stay, extremely good value for money. Would definitely recommend. "

"A wonderful view from a nice room made our trip memorable. Easy access and parking. We were caught out arriving late on a Sunday trying to find toiletries as none were provided at all. The location and ease of access made up for this though."
