Quiet and very clean with all of the amenities needed to have a comfortable stay. The host was very responsive in getting back to me quickly in one inquiry made. "The owner was very responsive and kind. The apartment was very clean and well updated. We are older adults and the access to the basement apartment was a bit of a challenge but the owner did graciously help with our luggage. The family does clearly disclose that they live above the unit and sounds of children may be heard. Between the sounds of the family above and the fact it’s a basement, not a “Loft”, with all the plumbing just above your head - it was not for us. "

"We were a family group in town to visit NYC for a graduation and to visit family in Dobbs Ferry. The location was great with ample parking for our cars. The house has comfortable bedrooms, just as seen in photos; and two large rooms for gathering as a group. We took the Hudson MTA in and out of the city and this was convenient. Definitely visit the Untermyer Gardens- a gem! Communication with the host was easy and efficient."

"The area was perfect. The place was very clean. The only hang up is the beds were extremely small. They advertise the couch as a pull out couch. It was not. Not only that you could not sleep on it, it was very uncomfortable to sit on it. Other than that, it was a well kept place. 20 minutes to Harlem (Manhattan). 35 minutes to 34 street )without traffics of course). "

"My wife and I were visiting our daughter who is attending school nearby. We were able to cook a homemade diner for our daughter and friend. It was in a central location where we were able to drive to two of her soccer matches. There was no parking onsite but there was plenty of room on the street. We have already discussed staying here again on our next visit. "
