"Cosy and comfortable and in a great location for exploring the Gower peninsula, Swansea and east Camarthenshire. David was very welcoming and the kitchen supplies ie tea, coffee, dishwasher tabs etc were very generous. We didn't realise when booking that there were 4 other converted farm buildings together but this was not an issue for us. The road was much busier than we thought it would be, but again not an issue for us personally."

"Absolutely loved staying at the retreat. Danny and Helen are extremely welcoming, nothing is too much trouble (even helped to fix my car) ((be careful reversing in and out of drive, can be quite tight)). Beautiful view to wake up to, beds very comfortable. Welcome pack extremely useful and offered fresh eggs daily from their chickens. Local walks are beautiful. "We found Elder Cottage comfortable and generally very well equipped. Pleasant garden and beautiful view to the Devon hills. Milk, wine and flowers provided for our arrival were a nice welcome."

"Positive: location, the peaceful feeling of a country house, the view on the fields and horses, cozy apartment. Room for improvement: all 3 mattresses were sagging/broken, we all basically slept on springs. The radiator of the 2 single beds room was so noisy we had to turn it off. Wifi very weak but I guess it does not depend on the owners."

"The Crows Nest is a beautiful period property situated in a lovely quiet location overlooking the sea. The views are stunning. Porlock weir has a lovely pub with friendly staff . An ideal location for a quiet rest. The coastal path is close by and Porlock village only 2 miles down the road. The property had all we needed for our short break . I would love to return some day .
