"Max - our host - works hard to make your stay enjoyable. He and his crew (family) are progressively renovating the rooms and they are just wonderful inside. The outside, however, is a bit unsettling. When I first drove up I wondered "What have I gotten myself into?!!" Upholstered chairs outside that are cracked and fading, weeds growing through the pavers, peeling paint on the front door, old fridges sitting outside, stacks of cardboard... I've mentioned this to Max and I know he's aware...

"We loved it. Have already rebooked another stay for this fall. Proprieters were very kind, rates are very reasonable, and the views are spectacular. Wifi hot spot really easy to access vis your smartphone. Firewood for woodstove and fire pit was free and plentiful, kitchens and washroom well-equipped.
