The Islington is a wonderful place to stay in Hobart. I was initially going to book downtown, but decided to try the Islington. I was very pleased with that decision. We had a great dinner at the property. The room was quite and comfortable, and we had a garden patio out our back door. The staff was very helpful, and the setting with the house and art work, makes you feel like you are staying with a rich relative that had very good taste.

Our visit was during Christmas and it was our honeymoon. I don’t think any other place would have been as perfect. We stayed in the gardeners cottage in the middle of an incredible garden.
