  • "Lazy Bear" , is a 2-bed/2-bath cabin with rustic elegance and mountain views just above the historic town of Bryson City.
    Our interior is 1000 sq.ft. of open space, views from all rooms and a gas fireplace. A full sofa bed, kitchen fully equip for cooking with dining for 6. Rooms offer queen sized beds, deck access to outside seating and dining. In the mountains just above the historic town, you'll enjoy sitting by the fireplace and viewing the peaceful scenery or hanging by the fire pit roasting marshmallows before taking a hike! Take advantage of the option to hang inside the game den playing Pac Man, Galaga, Zombie Raid, cruising USA, hydro thunder, street fighter, and 1200+ more games. All available for no additional charge.

The property was very pretty and very clean, however, you are not told how treacherous the driveway is, or that the "game room" is a totally separate building below the house you are staying in, with another scary path down the mountain. Looking at the vrbo, you think the game room is in the basement. Also, ALL the tv remotes were not working, even after replacing the batteries. The tv in the mbr did not work at all. We drove our small sedan and the driveway was so steep we had to get a running start going up. Also you have to take your trash to a dump site, which again was difficult with a small car. The outside grill was rusted thru and even if we replaced it with an oven rack, the propane tank was not usable. It was hanging and was leaking. I just think the owner needs to make sure everything works before you ask for the amount they charged.
