"Large, clean room with great views across to Edinburgh. Staff were great and a special mention goes to the waiter in the restaurant and the breakfast waiter. Really friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was fab. The only negative is please don't skimp on toilet paper. That fear of your finger going through causes great anxiety. Spend a little more on quality roll! Parking at the nearby station was easy which makes this place a great base for visits to Edinburgh."

"We had a great trip to at Strathallen Guest House. This was a great location to explore Edinburgh and the royal mile area without needing to rent a car for the city portion of our trip. Bus stop is right out front and many attractions within walking distance. Our room was clean and charming. A quiet space just outside the busy city center."
