"Wife and I stayed two nights at Hotel Family in mid-October, and had an exceptional experience. The street address is Dejzina Bikica, Sarajevo, but the entrance is actually down a side street at the opposite end of the building, away from Dejzina Bikica. There are several parking spaces facing nose-in along that street frontage. While searching for the entrance we were greeted at the upper end of the facility by Esmir. He cordially welcomed us and guided us to the Registration Counter. Esmir was incredibly helpful throughout our stay, making certain that our luggage was delivered to our room, familiarizing us with the facility and breakfast room layout, and arranging taxi service to Old Town. Regrettably, we had only arrived in Bosnia from Budva that day and had no KM. By the time we visited an ATM for local currency, Esmir was no longer on duty. Hopefully, his associate was kind enough to see that he received the 100KM tip. Although about five miles from Old Town, Hotel Family has easy access to the main arterials and was an easy drive to Four Rooms for Sofija (Sophia) Restaurant. We highly recommend Hotel Family, and particular kudos to Esmir."

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in the center of Stari Grad Sarajevo (Old Town) with a walking distance of 2 minutes to the bazaar (Baščaršija). The hotel is well maintained and modernized. The staff at the reception is super friendly and very helpful in finding the best places for dining. The breakfast was definitely a plus to get your day started just right. The rooms looked just like their own pictures. We stayed on the third floor and the views we had both in the morning and around sunset were breathtaking from the hallway window. We highly recommend this place and if we come back we’d definitely book our next stay here."
