"Check in was easy and location was good, thise are the only positives. The property is extremely dated and dirty. The furnishings in communal areas were torn, threadbare, stained, dirty and smelly. The carpets were dirty, covered in dog and human hair. There was mould above the shower and dirt and mould under the sink. The areas around the toilets were soiled with rusted old urine splashes. "I stay at Elite Venues Felbridge every week or other week for business and is always on point, Pool and spa excellent, lovely reception area and bar with attentive well turned out professional staff, rooms are very well equipped. Excellent, otherwise I wouldn’t stay here few times a month."

"The hotel room was spotless clean, we stayed in a quadruple room with 3 children and 2 adults. The room was a good size and two single beds in a separated room. Beds were very comfortable and they had a fan in the room. The shower didn’t have hot water and the shower curtain could do with changing. The downstairs needs full renovation but we were there for one night so good for what we used it for and the price was excellent so cheap and okey for 1 night"

"Really enjoyed my stay, it was relaxing. Used the pool and spa which was just out of this world. The grounds were well maintained and spent loads of time there. My only issue was my room (wendover) it was a good size and had an olde world charm to it but when looking at it closely there were many dead flies by the window and in the evening could hear rats running around up in the ceiling which was freaky and therefore had lack of sleep. I didn’t bring it up with the staff as I knew there wasn’t much they could do about it. But overall I would go back but make sure I wasn’t on the 2nd floor!"

"Had an amazing 3 nights at the George Hotel in Rye. The hotel environment made the stay so relaxing . The Grill Restaurant provided delicious dinner with attentive staff as was so with the breakfasts each morning. The reception staff were very helpful making sure that the two rooms booked were right for our family of four.. This was particularly important as my husband has mobility issues relating to Parkinson's. The room was great with step free access from the road. We would certainly use the George again."
