"Great staff, pools and public areas. Bedrooms could do with an upgrade and air conditioning would benefit the whole hotel."

"We really liked the convenience factor for the wedding we were attending in Eridge. The rooms (x3) were basic with a king bed ( a Superking would have fitted) , two old looking arm chairs ( from a care home?) a VERY modern glass desk and modern oak headboard. The paint colours on the walls were nice, but the carpet was a sort of light charcoal (sensible rather than pretty) and the huge Roman blind was a strong cream with two strips of dark brown either side. It was as if three different people had separately decorated the room! Rather odd, we felt. The shower had waves of hotter and colder water, which made for a bit of excitement in the mornings …. Breakfast was very good; they brought me a freshly sliced avocado on toast, rather than risk the ready mixed variety’s strength of chilli."

"Nice property. They advertised beach front but the room had terrible views. But no complains for a nights stay. Staff was exceptional. Great service Especially the restaurant staff. Was late for dinner and although they closed the manager lady kept the place open for us to order and eat. Was impressed by that service. True hospitality."

"Central position and with parking was good Extent of air conditioning was just opening windows when hot . Basic breakfast was ok Overall was looked after by staff, and put right toilet flush mechanism quickly. Quirky and dated decor. Was happy there. Steve, July 2026"
