"Amazing host Julie , fabulous place beautiful scenery, explored working farm ,All was excellent 5* except carpet was full of pets hair because pet friendly property.Kids loved the place ,View from hot tub was amazing.Certainly recommend and looking forward to book again ."

"Nice spot in the town. Well equipped accommodation, and manager made extra effort to have hot tub ready. Friendly neighbors and coffee cafe right next door. There are steps to the bedrooms and not much ‘elbow’ room, but this great spot for all day trips into Yorkshire Dales. "

"This is a fantastic property in a quiet cul-de-sac 10 minutes drive from Wakefield and about 30 minutes from York or Harrogate. The cottage is very well equipped and has everything you need for a great stay. Clean and modern inside ample parking and great views."

"Clean & welcoming, ideal location, within walking distance of town centre, pubs and places to eat. Second time we have stayed here and will be booking for next year"

"Spent 4 nights in this lovely, comfortable and well equipped property. Great location with walks from the door and well placed to explore the Holme Valley, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, National Coal Mining Museum and for wandering off to the Peak District. Also convenient for Huddersfield. Quiet location minutes from Almondbury where there are shops, pubs cafe and also from Farnley Tyas and it’s pub. Note: the property is on a bus route to Huddersfield. Would we stay again? Definitely "

"A very relaxing holiday in lovely surroundings.If you like walking your dog,birdwatching and great scenery.A contrast is offered by nearby towns of Harrogate and Knaresborough.If you stay during winter,pack the wellies and waterproofs.The local village of Birstwith has shop for essentials and a great dog friendly pub."
