The kitchenette and washer are absolutely unusable—clearly no maintenance is being done at all. The entire property feels neglected and poorly managed. I booked for five days and couldn’t even last past the second day. They have zero system for handling cancellations or complaints. No manager, no accountability, no support—just chaos. The only thing this place has going for it is the location. Everything else is a joke."

"Tokyo style hotel in Seoul. Positive: Very clean for the price. Negative: Lacks amenities. Mitigant: Buy your own toothbrush, toothpaste, beer, beer food. The front desk person will tell you to buy from the vending machine, but choices and prices are limited. I bought tooth paste & brush there, but for beer & some nuts, I went around the block to a convenience store instead. To me this Toyoku was excellent, hence I leave a review, because I value cleanliness above all. I don’t sleep well if it looks or smells bad, but I slept better than last place. For this price, in Gangnam, it’s very clean, hence, one of the best in value."
