What a fantastic trip! We stayed for four nights and wish we could have stayed longer. Tons of space, pool and hot tub were amazing, beds were super comfy, roof deck to see the sunset and stars were also fantastic. Jon was very helpful during out stay and made us feel right at home with margaritas and freshly made guacamole. Loved this special place! Thank you again.

Fantastic Hacienda

Our family enjoyed a wonderful stay at Cabo Hacienda. The property is just as described and the views are spectacular. We enjoyed the sunsets from the rooftop terrace and even got to see two rocket launches. Jon was our concierge and he greeted us with margaritas. He was very helpful with anything we needed. Probably best of all was Chef Estrella’s dinners. She cooked three fabulous meals for us and we wished she had cooked several more nights. We will definitely stay here again.

Awesome Property

We rented this property to attend a destination wedding and couldn't have been more pleased! The host was incredibly helpful and responsive, and Jon tended to our every need. The property was outstanding and everything we had hoped it would be!

Breathtaking Views

We had the perfect stay! House is so open and had everything we needed. Very cozy, lots of privacy with rooms. Comfortable beds. The concierge service (Jon) and Mark (owner) answered all our questions. View was amazing! If you need to book any excursions Baja Therapy was a luxurious private pontoon compared to the other boats that were packed. Definitely use Chef Estrella for multiple meals and don’t miss out on the massages! This was way better then staying at any resort! Thanks Mark :)

Incredible stay

We spent Christmas 2023 in this wonderful home. The house is amazing. We did sightseeing and fishing but the best part of the trip was enjoying the home. You can see whales from the patio, sunsets, enjoy a fire in the courtyard at night. It's as good as it gets. We went to Toro and Rosa Nergro and enjoyed both meals but the best food we had was Chef Estrella who came to the house with her partner Carmen. They surprised us with a wide assortment of dishes with one better than the last. Three times they came and cooked. They were the three best meals we had. Do it!

Simply Amazing!

My family spent 5 days here for my mom's 70th birthday and it was perfect! Huge space with fantastic views. The welcome team was super helpful and responsive in all cases. Oh, and I highly recommend Chef Estrella!

No Stress Vacation

We loved this home on our vacation. The view from the expansive living room is breathtaking. You can literally walk from the couch and jump into the pool/hot tub in 10 steps. The master bed was more comfortable than my actual bed. The property managers do everything you could ever need to make your trip enjoyable. We had an in house chef service come that was lovely. They also set us up with a private boat whale watching tour. The rooftop terrace was breathtaking for sunsets. The property was very safe as well with 24 hour security at the gate. If you choose to ever leave the pool, there's a private beach about 10 min away walking. We will be back for sure

Amazing Experience

This vacation was excellent in every aspect. First of all, I have never had an owner of a property do so much to make our trip perfect. Great communication. We had excellent concierge service, driver to and from airport, fishing trip, and sunset cruise all scheduled ahead of time for us and were always available for any questions we had. Now for the house. Wow! I don't think you could have a much better view. Everything you need is in this house...kitchen ware, towels, toilet paper, etc. And I have never stayed somewhere that the bed more comfortable than my own bed! We all felt extremely comfortable and at home. The description of this house is spot on, and because of this and the great hospitality we will continue to stay at Hacienda de la cruz!

Architectural masterpiece. Perfection

Of all the homes we’ve visited, this one has the best design by far. It’s built around a central open air courtyard that has access to two wonderful guest bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Courtyard provides access to the amazing rooftop lounge with sitting area and curtained bed. Living room has ample seating and Cabo Fire cable has more stations than I’ve ever seen. Every network in every USA city, UK TV, Australia and even NHL/ AHL/OHL hockey. You won’t miss your hometown sports games. Pool and hot tub were the perfect temp. Ample towels. Everything needed for relaxation. Views of ocean and sunsets are magnificent. At night, stars are like being in a planetarium. Great kitchen with all amenities. Same with laundry and master BR. Plenty of storage for hanging clothes. Villa Serena is a gated community with many upscale homes. Very secure. Easy access to Los Cabos and easy drives to Todos Santos and San Jose. Concierge Hector was very helpful as was Mark, the owner of the home. All of our pre trip questions were answered promptly. We also recommend the Baja Therapy boat cruise for an up close views of the rock formations. We had a marvelous time, all made possible by this well-designed home. Thanks to everyone for the best vacation ever.

Amazing stay with VIP concierge

Not enough time to sum up the amazing experience at Hacienda. Hector provides outstanding personal service on site (handles all your needs, driving, grocery run, etc) and owner provides great communication to ensure your stay is perfect. Estrella and Paloma took good care of us, cooked some incredible authentic dinners and full wait/cleanup service. Boat experience on Baja Therapy was a highlight of the trip out on the water, as well as inexpensive hourly massages directly in the villa. Hector got us a Mariachi band to come start the evening for my girlfriends 50th birthday, which was a great touch pre dinner (piñata after dinner was a nice ending touch). You can do as little or as much as you want, Hector and team will make sure you get what you need! Will rent again, perfect location and villa for 8 guests!

Anniversary Celebration

Hacienda de la Cruz was a great property, large, well laid out with a private pool and hot tub. Lots of amenities. We traveled with our parents and 2 year old daughter. Property has a unique layout, with 2 bedrooms separated from the main house by a nice courtyard. It is important for families with small children to know the bedrooms are laid out this way. Overall the property was great and the private beach was a few minute walk away. Be prepared to coordinate most of your travel. The "concierge services" were lacking and inconsistent. We were told that taxis/drivers were arranged and then failed to show. We've experienced better services at other properties in Cabo. Overall a great experience and would recommend for families and groups looking for a relaxing time with only a short drive from downtown - Ubers were plentiful but only seat 3 people per car. Plan accordingly.

Pretty view but it my fav house

Pros Spacious master bedroom Pretty view Wireless speaker and beach towels provided Helped coordinate massages Conveniently located not far from downtown and grocery store Cons 2-min walk to beach is many stairs, walking in someone’s backyard and not a beach you can “beach on” - rocky with dead fish Even my teens were exhausted after walk down there - it’s steep! The house is situated with two of the bedrooms almost like separate casitas - not ideal with kids No coffee Freezer had odd smell Like no lighting throughout kitchen /house Cracked tiles on third floor dangerous Looks of cracks in doors throughout house allowing bugs/lizards a way in. Lizard in house upon arrival Bird got in house - doors NOT left open Chlorine in pool turned our hair green! Colored blondes Patio furniture in middle of house outdoor area had no cushions Third floor outdoor bed had stains on sheets… Overall, we’ve rented a lot of houses and even with the ocean view - it was not my fav. Needs some updating. The master bedroom had no full length mirror. I’m 5’3 and could only see shoulders up in mirror - full length at front of house. Messages sent via Vrbo never replied to - they texted me day before arrival.

An All Around Amazing Stay!

We spent 5 nights at Hacienda de la Cruz and absolutely enjoyed our stay. The view from the pool and the roof is incredible. We used the hot tub and swam in the pool every day. The whole trip was incredibly relaxing and we were grateful for all of Mark and Hector's help. We took Mark and Hector up on nearly all of the services they offered and are so happy we did: - Transportation everywhere coordinated by Hector - Chef Estrella (amazing) meal the night we arrived - Baja Therapy sunset cruise - Incredible tequila and mezcal tasting at the house Something to note that we didn't realize from the photos: there is an interior courtyard with fireplace that is just stunning and would be so enjoyable on a cold/windy night. Basically, this house can be appreciated year round. Pictures don't do it justice and you should book Hacienda de la Cruz immediately for an incredible vacay.

Amazing, Expansive View

Great for entertaining. The house has an awesome pool/hot tub with a great view. Plenty of seating. Middle of house is an open space with an outdoor fireplace. Two guest rooms each have a tv and own full bath. Rooftop is relaxing and beautiful. Kitchen is very nice and has most things needed. Would visit again!

Amazing property, amazing views, location, concierge! D. ) ALL THE ABOVE!! Amazing. Would not hesitate to book again. We ubered everywhere including to Fresko’s the local upscale grocery store. Super cheap. (Aporox$3-$5) So thankful to have this time w my family. Bed is SUPER comfy! Would return in a heart beat! Thanks Mark and Hector!!!

Wonderful home with beautiful views!

We really enjoyed our time at Hacienda de la Cruz , Mark was great to communicate with, and made sure everything we asked for was planned prior to our trip. We felt that the all the reviews were pretty accurate. You won’t want to leave!! The pool and views are amazing. However, the lounge chairs are broken and unusable but the grill works if you buy charcoal yourself. Bring bug spray and sunscreen! There’s also no bed on the roof top anymore. Just a couple plastic chairs. Also make sure you have plenty of cash before you come as Hector will not accept a check and there’s a limit to what you can withdrawal at ATM machines each day. It got very expensive with all the ATM fees. If you send a grocery list please know it’s coming from Costco. We ordered pickles for when we grilled and had burgers, and Hector bought a 4 L jar!! We were only there for 6 days. It was the same for the rest of the items we ordered - Mayo, cheese, jelly, fruit, crackers - all came in HUGE quantities. We overpaid A LOT and couldn’t use half of it. I also specified which grocery store I had in mind (I have been to Cabo before) and knew they carried the items in regular/small quantities but he only went to Costco. I suggest just going to the grocery store yourself so you don’t over pay like we did. Hector also made us feel like a nuisance for the grocery store list - it would’ve been easier/cheaper to do ourselves. I suggest Mark and Hector send a grocery list to be completed by guests prior to the trip - seems more efficient that way. The 10 min ride into town is $30 each way (also only cash). Hector is very convenient and communicative. Although at times made us feel unwelcomed and like we were bothering him. It wasn’t the most comfortable interactions but maybe it was just an off week for him. Had we known these details, we could’ve prepared better and not overpaid as much as we did. With all that said, the home is comfortable and beautiful. I would highly recommend just wish we were better informed.

Best Vacation Ever

In an email from Mark the owner, he mentioned he would do what he could to make this my best vacation ever… well Mark mission accomplished. The house is absolutely stunning from the comfortable beds, to the stunning pool, and the amazing views. The pics really don’t do it justice. Can’t write the review without mentioning Hector the Protector who was first class with everything. He pointed us to great restaurants, great activities, and he saved us money on several activities by pointing us in the right direction. Must book Chef Estrella for a meal. Her food was perfect. I’d do it again in a heart beat!!! Upon hours and hours of research and contemplation, we decided on Hacienda de la Cruz and have ZERO regrets. If you’re on the fence, book this place, first class experience all the way.

Beautiful Beach House in Cabo!!

This house is just amazing!! We brought our family of 6 and had plenty of room. The view from the pool is unbelievable!! The roof top deck is just amazing. We saw fireworks from the deck one night it was so beautiful! The kitchen is huge and so awesome. Hector was the BEST! He took care of us with anything we needed! Mark the owner is also so helpful and really made us feel comfortable. We also had Estrella cook lobsters for us one night!! Was just outstanding! This was a trip of a lifetime!!! We also loved the private beach!! Can't wait to go back!!!
