"My husband and I have stayed at Chart House in the last few years. We’ve always liked it. This stay was pretty bad. Our first night the music was blasting near our room until midnight. The next night a party went on until 1 am with people shouting and screaming and music. Why wasn’t there security to kick those people out at pool closing time? Clearwater just had a mob shooting 2 days earlier. You would think that they would have been on top it. We are semi young retirees. We don’t like to complain but this was bad and we’ll never be back.☹️"

"Place is clean and staff at front desk were friendly. Pool is nice and well kept. Bar at the pool is a plus. Rooms were decent, though I would’ve liked a safe for my valuables. Beds were comfortable and the view from our terrace was nice. Overall the property seems a bit outdated, but it’s well kept and respectable. Right on the water, which is nice for sun sets and view, but the actual beach is a couple blocks away. Not far at all. Salty’s across the street and a block away was good. Restaurant in hotel (Jimmy’s Fish House and Iguana Bar) was good. Staff and bartenders were good and food was decent too. Live music every night we were there. All in all it was a good stay. A little pricy considering the pool was the only amenity. Game room was closed because of storm damage and no gym. So basically it’s called a resort because of the pool and the restaurant. If I went back I would probably try a place across from the beach or more in the center of town, even if it costs a little more. However, I don’t have too many complaints about this place. We had a good stay and perfect weather to boot."
