"Charmerende slots-hotel. Kæmpe store værelser, med god komfort - enkle, måske tenderende lidt kedelige, men meget renlige. Det er en gammel bygning, og det giver både masser af charme og lidt udfordringer. Parkering lidt væk, men ikke et stort problem, dog bør vejen dertil repareres ASAP! Restauranten ligger med en fantastisk udsigt over dalen, og meget hyggeligt. Super god service og mad."

"Great location within the old city and close to all amenities and train station. The property had lots of character. Nice and quiet. Courtyard very pleasant and an added bonus. Lots of space and clean and functional. The one negative point is a very steep staircase and not easy to get up and down particularly with suitcase. Also could do with a more comfortable sofa Had a lovely holiday and Lucca is beautiful. Will be back"

Für 5 Personen hatten wir genug Platz und Geschirr - und sogar einen Geschirrspühler (nebst Waschmaschine). Alles da! Einzig die Entfernung zum Meer.. Wir wären gerne zu Fuss ans Meer. This place is like having a 'real' home in a typical residential area of Pisa. "Before we arrived I was a little concerned about the town and location. I couldn't even find the town on my map! As we approached the area in our car, we saw an interesting medieval looking town on a nearby hill. As it turned out, it was Vicopisiano. What a wonderful surprise! This little town was awesome. "My husband and I had a wonderful week staying in Chianni, the apartment was perfect, we loved the terrace with views over the rolling Tuscan hills. The location allowed us to walk to local restaurants as well as longer 2-3 hours hikes in the hills and forests which we loved. "We are a group of 12 retired friends traveling first time in Tuscany. Villa Buonamici was the perfect accommodation for us. It is very close to the gate to the walled city center, literally only minutes away. The accommodations were exactly as described. Checkin/out was very easy and convenient. Our trip to Tuscany included stays in four separate locations and Villa Buonamici was by far our favorite. Do yourself a favor and stay at this Villa, you won’t be disappointed."

Clean chalet, friendly & helpful staff, shop/cafe/restaurant on site. Kitchen area equipped with basics for cooking, there is no kettle,toaster, oven or microwave - just a 4 ringed gas hob which i feel could be improved more.
