"Had a wonderful 6 night stay at this lovely, spacious house with plenty of space for our group of 11. The house has amazing gardens with beautiful views and is in a lovely quiet location. We didn't want to drive and used the bus service from the village to go to Lucca, around a 15 mins journey. The host, Fiona, is fantastic and easy to communicate with. She is very helpful and even arranged for someone to come into the villa to cook a meal for the birthday celebration which was just lovely. All...

"We had amazing stay at the Villa in the hills of Buti, Italy. It was centrally located which allowed us to visit 6 different destinations, Lucca, Pisa, Florence, San Gimignano, Siena and Cinque Terre! The house was cozy and quaint with comfortable beds. The view from the outside patio was breathtaking and even took a dip in the pool, a little chilly but invigorating! Marco and Guilia were very attentive to everything we needed. The Chef dinner was delicious and fun! A week we will never forget....

"Beautiful location just 15mins from Pisa and 40mins the coast. Villa was in an beautiful location. But only 10 mins walk to village where restaurants are. Supermarket only 5 mins drive. Villa itself was very spacious and clean. Had all facilities that though worked needed updating. Maybe more fans needed as it was unusually warm. The pool was perfect and the boys loved. WiFi was not great but this was not a big deal for me as it was for the others."

The view on top of the mount was breathtaking. The owners, Antonio and Silvia are unquestionably the finest, dearest owners we have ever met. "Beautiful villa only 2.5 miles from center of Lucca, but felt worlds away. Situated in a quiet residential neighborhood, it was conveniently placed close to local amenities (grocery store, etc.). Wonderful outdoor sitting/eating areas and local Osteria (5’ walk) was excellent (had dinner there twice in 4 days). Local church bells tolling on the hour just added to the charm of the setting! Above all, Luciano was a gracious and informative host. We would love to come back someday for another stay...

"The location of this home was wonderful! We were in this property for almost three weeks so we got to know it well. It’s 30-40 minutes from: Luca, Pisa, Florence etc. We wanted a true Tuscany experience and were very happy with how it all turned out. "We are a group of 12 retired friends traveling first time in Tuscany. Villa Buonamici was the perfect accommodation for us. It is very close to the gate to the walled city center, literally only minutes away. The accommodations were exactly as described. Checkin/out was very easy and convenient. Our trip to Tuscany included stays in four separate locations and Villa Buonamici was by far our favorite. Do yourself a favor and stay at this Villa, you won’t be disappointed."

"The house is very spacious Just like the garden. We had to share the pool which we didn't know but that turbed out okay. The cutlery and crockery weren 't very clean maybe because the dishwasher didn't work properly. The host / property manager on the other hand was great and helpen us a lot with everything. "First of all a tip of the hat to Tommaso, our host. He is really on the ball, you ask him something and almost immediately he responds or drops by to see what's up. The Villa Nerino has 5 bedrooms, each with a very nicely appointed bath. I recommended to him that he install safety bars in the baths (I am disabled). So I expect he will do so, he was very receptive to that idea. The Villa is a little out of the way, which translates to lots of peace and quiet. You need a car to get around, which...

"The house is as described. It is one half of a house, that is rented as well, so there can be other people around. A downside is that the house is up a steep hill. The road is small and needs some courage, but is totally do-able. We mostly drove by car instead of walking up and down. An upside is the cute neighbours cat, which visites occasionally. The landlady is very kind and even asked during the stay if everything is alright. All in all a great stay 👍"

"10min walk to the nearest train station to get to other areas of italy such as florence and cinque terre. 15min walk to the tower of Pisa. Clean chalet, friendly & helpful staff, shop/cafe/restaurant on site. Kitchen area equipped with basics for cooking, there is no kettle,toaster, oven or microwave - just a 4 ringed gas hob which i feel could be improved more. Lots of mosquitos so ensure you pack repellant. Towels to hire. Good quality supermarket 10min walk away. I would definitely stay here...
