"The only downfall was no elevator, however staff helped us. Rooms were clean and bright. Everything you could want. Comfortable beds."

"Great location for the Leaning Tower and Duomo. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Helpful staff on the front desk. Rooftop bar great with excellent views of town, Leaning Tower and sunset though service a little slow. Lovely breakfast with lots of choice. Room clean and spacious though not luxurious, one of the sockets and a bedside light didn’t work but otherwise good. Hence 4 stars not 5. Would recommend."

"Excellent service at reception having arrived just before midnight. Perfect location for late arrival. Breakfast is so so, but hard to be fussy when it’s included in the price"

"Rooms clean, excellent showers. Air conditioning worked well in all the rooms, keeping a constant temperature. Swimming pool very useful. Had to use towels from room to go to pool 😟, unless you paid extra for replacements. All in all though great find, and location was perfect to head out to Pisa via the train."

Suites Marilia Apartments

"we availed of self check in at Suites Marilia which worked out well for us as the reception is closed between 12 noon and 4pm.our apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything that we required. The pool area is clean and well looked after. Unfortunately the snack bar area is limited to 2 vending machines so after a long journey all we could get to eat or drink was snack from the machine. The staff when on duty are very helpful especially with transport, as the apartments are situated in a residential area which is somewhat far away from shops, restaurants and the tourist area of the City of Livorno. The nearest bus is an 8-10 minute walk and not all buses stop at the nearest stop to the apartments."
