"We arrived late at night which our host kindly allowed for, but his English wasn’t good so it was hard for him to explain why the room we had booked and paid for wasn’t available and we were in a much smaller apartment which was not especially comfortable for the length of the stay with questionable weather.. "US Citizens here. From the Midwest, mind you. So our culture plays into my review.I'm not saying that this place is awful. In fact, it could easily be a 5 star review. But, there were enough things that brought this place down. Primarily the host.You need to understand, especially, if you're from the Midwest of the US, that the host, Massimo, comes across as a total bully. He comes across as VERY upset on small things, but honestly I think it's a communication challenge vs him being truly mean....

"Een klein, maar aardig appartement. Met twee personen konden wij er goed mee uit de voeten.Binnen noch buiten waren makkelijke stoelen, dat hebben we wel gemist.De aankleding van het terras had mooier gekund. Wat groen hier en daar had al veel gescheeld.In de badkamer werkte alles goed, en in de keuken ook.De eigenaar was vriendelijk, bereidwillig en behulpzaam.Al met al was dit verblijf een prima uitvalsbasis voor een goede vakantie."

"Wir haben nicht die gebuchte Wohnung erhalten. Die Bilder sind veraltet. Die Wohnung ist abgewohnt. Stellenweise fällt der Putz von der Wand, die Kaffeemaschine war defekt, die Toilettenspülung hing. Der Vermieter machte keine Anstalten die Probleme zu beheben. Obwohl dieser laut Beschreibung etliche Sprachen beherrscht, war es nicht möglich mit ihm auf englisch oder deutsch zu kommunizieren. Wir hatten 2 Wochen gebucht, sind aber nach einer Woche wieder abgereist."
