"Good sized rooms nice patios "

"It was apparent that is was a well maintained property. The rooms were extremely clean and crisp. We had a short stay - got in late and left early. The evening staff desk person was not overly welcoming, but did what was needed. Nice stay. "

"This is a lovely early 1900s home with tastefully remodeled kitchen and bathroom. Decorated and furnished beautifully. There are 3 bedrooms/beds upstairs and 1 on the main floor - one of the beds upstairs is in a cute hallway alcove so that might be best for kids, we just used two beds but they were very comfortable. Had all the extra amenities we needed (and a lot more). There is just one bathroom downstairs, so anyone older might want to stay in the downstairs bedroom. We had no problems getting in, and host was very responsive to any questions. It was a very nice stay. It was an easy 30 minute drive to Decorah- we were there for Luther college graduation. I would definitely stay there again if I’m in the area."

"Our very first impression was amazing! When we stepped into the camper, it was very welcoming. The camper was beautifully decorated, and soft music was playing. It was a WOW moment!! Beautiful, Woodsy surroundings with the soft sound of a waterfall just a few feet away. A great fire pit setup with plenty of cut wood ready to go. It was wonderful to have the cooking items we needed for the stove and grill. It was very nice, not to have to pack bedding and bath towels. Everything was generously provided. Beautiful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of life. We highly recommend this Hideaway and would love to return in the future."

"This is a perfect little spot to enjoy all that Decorah and the surrounding area has to offer. It was just like home the minute we stepped in. There are stairs to go up to the apartment, from street side and alley side so be prepared for that. The parking spot in the back is an added bonus!"
