"I often sat at the Lodge and prefer this to the main hotel - the reasons being the rooms are more modern, the WIFI is top notch and doesn't suffer black-outs (like the main hotel does) and the bathrooms are newer and the showers are all really powerful. The only thing better at the main hotel is breakfast... but it isn't worth the extra ££. I'd very much recommend the Lodge !!!"
"Property is set back away from the road with trees and garden, very quiet , and relaxing . Jean is a lovely lady making us very welcome, plenty of knowledge of the local area. "We stayed at Ennios the day and night before a cruise. Ennios is a restaurant (a good nice Italian restaurant) and has 5 rooms as well. The service is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are located on the first floor but there is no elevator. We could leave our suitcases that we didnt need at reception. The rooms are comfortable. "A great place if you wana drive down the night before your cruise as its close to the terminal! Nice freindly staff, food exellent! The room was basic but clean as was the bathroom. We where in a downstairs room so we had noisy upstairs occupants so when they walked across the room you could hear the footsteps and floorboards creaking! Fire alarm went off in the early hours but that cant be helped! Not a bad stay and i would stay there again. Highly recommend the fish&chips👌"
