Full sized fridge freezer which is always a bonus. Bedroom at the back with a small rooflight window - no aircon - but a decent fan in both areas. The on-property parking was so very helpful, because the hills make it very stressful and difficult to park on the street. We highly recommend this property. "

"A very peaceful location with great proximity to the airport and near a pleasant village. It is a tidy and compact cottage that was perfect for our family and Patricia was very helpful. It was pleasant to sit outside the cottage and enjoy the lush greenery. It's best not to let kids wander up the driveway toward the main house as there are large guard dogs that can surprise you."

"Very nice, spacious and comfortable house, well equipped, with a wonderful garden and a stunning view over the city and the bay. The access to the property is a bid complicated. Don't enter the dead end road which leaves to the principal entry. It is extremely steep and narrow. Ask for the alternative parking spot around the block (but still near to the house)."

"The apartment was incredible, right in the centre of Funchal, really easy to get to and really close to the main attractions of the city. Miguel was an excellent host, we forgot an item there and he was able to get it back to us when we came back in the city. We really recommend this accommodation for an amazing holiday."
