"Very pleased and exactly what we wanted. Peaceful and relaxing. Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Relaxed on the front lawn in the big chairs, enjoyed friendly conversation around the fire pit with fellow travelers. The boardwalk, tide pools and beach are right across the road. Great restaurants close by. The cookies waiting for us in the room were delicious and the coffee in the breakfast room was surprisingly good. Did not use the pool this time but it was clean and inviting and plenty of nice beach towels available in the lobby. Lobby staff were friendly and check in/out was easy breezy. We have stayed in Cambria several times before, first time staying at Castle Inn. We will definitely stay here again, and the price for the area was better than most. "

"We liked the location as we were directly across from the beach and walking path. We enjoyed daily breakfast on the patio overlooking the beautiful view. We were only passing through but loved the stay so much we decided to return and book another night. The staff were friendly and offered dining suggestions, but it was tough finding a place to have dinner. However we took a 5 minute drive to downtown where we enjoyed a lovely dinner at the Sows Ear. We walked daily and interacted with other guests. This was a pleasant visit and we plan to return for another stay. "
