"This was a very clean place to stay with a lovely staff. We enjoyed our spacious room in a great location. The happy hour was awesome as well. So nice to have cocktail options other than a glass of house wine. The downsides are that they were in the middle of painting the property (which is understandable, it has to happen at some point, it just happened to coincide with our stay). My husband thought the bed was comfortable, however I wasn't as comfy as he was. Just me though. And the other negative thing was hearing the house settling all night long. I kept hearing loud cracks (like the sound of ice melting) sporadically through the night which kept me awake or woke me up when I would finally fall asleep. Ear plugs fixed the problem. Other than that, we would be happy to come back. I am picky about my hotels and this one was over all a great place. We came for our wedding anniversary and were pleased. OH and I LOVED the fact they had filtered water in the lobby and pitchers to bring back to the room. I usually have to buy a gallon of water and bring it up, so it was nice to have this amenity."

"What a beautiful setting right on Moonstone beach, feet away from the small boardwalk and beach/cliffs. Some rooms have beautiful ocean views. They are slowly remodeling the rooms and we were in one of the newly redone ones. It was very spacious with extremely high-end finishes and tastefully done. Bed was very comfortable with pillowtop. Bathrooms were beautiful. Once all the rooms are completed I'm sure this will be a top destination."
