Superbly appointed room with excellent bathroom and everything works perfectly: near-silent but efficient climate control, faultless WiFi connectivity and TV casting. The restaurant is a treat, creative and beautifully presented menu choices and fabulous breakfast choices. Most of all the staff made the visit special; attentive, warm, courteous and helpful. "Mabel's Cottage is fabulous. The views of Roughtor over the lake are stunning. The cottage has everything you need and is spotlessly clean. We wish we could have stayed longer to really appreciate it. Hosts, John and Wendy were very helpful and made us feel really welcome. The christmas decorations and the cream tea were lovely touches.Thank you."
