"There is an amazing restaurant next door which our host graciously arranged for seating when our flight was delayed! Our group had multiple travel delays, and our host was very flexible and helpful. He even helped to get us to a neighboring town to see other family in the area. It is close to the Himera Archaeological Park so expect some dust in the rooms. Host Rosalba has thought of everything. In addition to kitchenette/dining area, there's even a washing machine and drying rack. Easy check-in and check-out. "The house was very dirty; there weren’t even any sheets to cover up with, there’s no air conditioning in the living room, and the linens they provided weren’t exactly fresh. It’s very far from the sea, and the beach is terrible. The neighbors are literally right on your property, and the houses are very poorly laid out. It’s not worth it at all for this price—the kitchen is terrible, the staircase is terrible, and the bathrooms are terrible (I’ve never seen anything worse)."
