"This is our second visit spending the week in the summer at this house! We have a very large family which includes grandchildren and 2 dogs. There was plenty of room and privacy for all of us! We bring our jetskis and dock them at the house. The owners were so kind and helpful. Our car battery was dead before our departure and they came to help. We even left something behind and they got back to us right away. The view is so beautiful from the house looking at the water. My favorite place to have coffee and meditate in the morning. There is a small town minutes away with farm fresh groceries and my favorite the red barn antique store! We had a great time and planning on returning."
"This was a suitable, affordable, no frills stay for us. Clean room, warm shower, comfortable beds, room darkening window shades. The only comments I would make are that they forgot to put cups in the bathroom and the parking lot is due for repaving soon."
"My stay at the Haslett House was a total delight. Paul, who runs this bed and breakfast, is a gracious and generous host. I was fascinated by his stories about how he bought the house and about his work to create a beautiful period setting from the late 1800's when the house was built. He pours love into the property and it shows. He is still in process with the exterior as he brings it up to his very high standards. The interior is well-appointed with countless treasures I only stayed one night but would have been happy for more. I slept well, enjoyed the delicious breakfast made to order and loved seeing an Amish horse and buggy drive by in the morning when I looked out the bedroom window. I am spreading the word about this hidden gem. It is only 20 minutes from Cooperstown and numerous other fun tourist attractions in the area."
"We originally booked the super 8 hotel across the street and were saved by the holiday inn. The staff was curious, the hotel was clean and inviting, the pool was large and well organized, the restaurant was a breath of fresh air with a lovely menu and separate bar area. Bathrooms were large and clean sign updated brands for complimentary products. Would highly recommend only staying here if you’re in the area."
"The cabin was beautiful with everything we needed. It had really nice artwork that inspired me to draw. The front porch was relaxing and large enough to fit our group of 6. Cute town and a beach nearby. I would definitely recommend."
"Rented this place for a romantic getaway and the listing was so nostalgic just had to experience itThe place is gorgeous. The owners put such thought and money into little items.Couch is exquisite not made for lounging but the bedroom was extra comfortableCheck in and out was no issueThe owner Chris was super responsive to questions. We had an issue with the internet speed and he was faster than 5G coming down to look at the box.The owner has beautiful pictures posted of the property I have included all the special items The description of the property was excellent just note the grounds is shared with other rentals so privacy is limited. Check out is 11am and they were already setting up tents at 10am.Only negative I would like a closet or rod to hang clothes I still give 5 stars... Totally recommendWhen in town you must visit Bridge St diner.. Walking distance and so good"

"We had a wonderful stay over the Fourth of July weekend! The location was perfect for our travels back and forth with easy drives to Cooperstown, Herkimer, and Howe Caverns. The cabin and property were beautiful, exceptionally clean, and very well maintained. Chris was a great host—responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again if we’re back in the area!"
Beautiful Mountain Lodge on 32 Private Acres - Real Privacy!

"The cabin is located in a very quiet area. We enjoyed our solitude surrounded by nature. The highlight was the bird and frog songs, especially at dusk. Sitting on the deck, we could hear 4 types of frogs (tree frog, green frog, bull frog and peeper) plus several birds. It was very enjoyable. The walk from the cabin along the road up north is beautiful. There were tons of bright orange salamanders at dusk. We also enjoyed hiking several trails nearby (in Ferris Lake Wilderness Area). The cabin is very clean, comfortable and communication with John was very easy."
