"I stayed with two friends for a couple of nights here. We were provided an extra bed, so the three of us had a comfortable stay in the room. We all loved the pool and swam in it both nights. There are only 4 rooms, so we felt well taken care of. We'll definitely come back next time we're in Tamarindo."

"Casa Mapache is a lovely place managed by lovely people. The spacious, clean room had a king size bed and two twin beds, which was perfect for our family of four with two "tween" boys who don't want to share a bed if they don't have to! "there is only 2 draw backs about this accomodation. 1) the noise that permeates the walls and roof. The noise in the room nearest the busy street is pretty bad. 2) the breakfast. Other than that the room is spacious if not a little weird with the toilet not being vented but open to the room. the bed was comfortable and the receptionist was helpful."
