"We had a wonderful stay at Villa Sasoon at the beginning of August. The staff are simply delightful - they can't do enough for you (without being imposing), and are just super friendly and lovely. They are always smiling! The Villa itself is just like the pictures - spacious, clean, and open. The outdoor area is spectacular - the sun loungers are very comfortable, it's nice to have the outdoor table to eat at, and the pool is the perfect temperature. "Puri Bagus is a beautiful small resort with wonderful staff and views! The small beach area is not clean, like most beaches in Bali. "The hotel seemed past its best. The outdoor area was really nice. Clean and tidy with a decent sized pool. The room just felt slightly odd. A bit dark, with no sound proofing. The bed sheets also had numerous stains. The bathroom was big but it seemed empty and when showering, the whole floor would be wet and slippery. Most of the staff were friendly and welcoming. This was my first trip to an asian country, they helped me rent a scooter and then a car when I found out driving a scooter is terrifying. Any questions we had they helped us out as soon as possible to the best of their knowledge. Incredibly professional.
