Our stay was beyond amazing I celebrated my birthday at Ayung Resort the resort is a gem hidden 15 mins of central UBUD peaceful beautiful resort the resort is 5star hospitality we where only going to stay for 4nights and ended up for 8 nights! The free breakfast is great over looking the jungle the view is magical ! If you want to experience UBUD Ayung resort is a must ! Thank you to all the staff from Damian and Sonia

Amazing place to spend a few days. From day one the staff makes you feel welcome

During our first night there we had some issues with the air conditioner, which the staff tried to resolve straight away and kept on checking on during our whole stay to make sure that it was working fine and that we were comfortable. There is also a clinic on site which was very helpful as my mom fell sick during our trip and to make us feel right at home the hotel sent us a Get Well Soon bouquet to our room. If you're going to stay in this area of Bali, this is the place to stay. To be honest, I don't know if it is truly a "5 star" resort as it doesn't come close to the Ritz Carlton-level, but it is a really nice place. The resort is family friendly with all kinds of activities for the kids. Plus, centrally located to good bars / restaurants I think my only real issue was the size / quality of the room for the price point. I've stayed in way larger / nicer rooms for $200 a night. Would recommend garden room at minimum. Extra price not much and worth the minimal price difference. Let’s you have a much nicer experience when in the room itself or taking advantage of the spacious terrace or exposed shower. Otherwise you are facing other buildings or parking lots.

I stand firmly behind my five stars - this hotel definitely earned them on service alone. The staff memorize your name - not just a few, lots of them remember who you are! Constantly trying to help, constantly engaging in friendly conversation. We felt like we were visiting friends! This is a lovely boutique hotel right outside the chaos of Ubud. It offers a quiet, relaxing environment and the pool is stunning. Best of all is the kind, caring staff who greet you and are eager to help in any way possible. I would definitely stay here again!

I give the Anvaya 5 stars! I was in Singapore for work and decided to treat myself and check out Bali for a few days. It was too quick of a trip, but I wanted to do a little traveling. Bali with its congestion and litter isn't really all a paradise. The moment you walk into the Trans hotel that changes. This hotel really seems to "get" the customer service/satisfaction piece. Every (and I mean every) person that we encountered over our stay was gracious, helpful and genuinely happy. First time in Bali and I chose the Magani based over the proximity to the airport and spacious room. I arrived hours early but was greeted by the bell hop and escorted to the check-in counter. Where to start. I chose this hotel for my honeymoon and I'm very happy I did. I booked the lagoon view room but when I arrived I asked to be moved to the best Lagoon room with access to the private lagoon pool and out door bed. Lovely little place convenient to the airport (~20 mins) and next to the beach. Smaller than I expected. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-designed. Shower could have been hotter, but that's minor. Our stay was simply amazing. The staff was top notch, and on top of everything that we could have (and did) ask for. The beach is about 200’ down the road, and is on a quieter street. There is construction, but barely noticeable. There is also sound of clubs at night (You would bear the clubs if you stayed anywhere in Canggu) as some other reviewers mentioned, but if you close the doors, and turn on the AC, the sound just blends in to everything else and did not affect our sleep.
