"Solid pub accommodation "

"We chose Holyhead because it’s close to South Stack (incredible scenery, and lots of birds - and baby birds!), and Newborough (we didn’t end up going there, but it sounds beautiful). Holyhead itself is a bit run down, and not a tourist destination, more of a pass-through place according to the locals. But The Hut was close to Market Street with pubs, restaurants and grocery stores, and an easy walk from the train station. We managed to get a taxi to South Stack (there aren’t a lot of them),...

"We had a wonderful stay at the Coed Mawr hotel. Beautiful hotel, beautiful scenery. Everywhere was spotless. The beautifully decorated lounge was lovely to relax in during the evening. Beth & Andrew couldn't have been more welcoming & friendly. "

"An overnight stop before catching a ferry the next morning. Lovely pub, which was busy on our arrival at 8pm. Menu good and food was enjoyable but mains arrived instantly as soon as we’d finished our starters, which made our meal feel a bit rushed. Our room was wonderful- all rooms are locally themed- well decorated, comfortable with every sort of tea & coffee you could ever imagine! Peaceful area on beautiful Anglesey."
