"I booked the hotel as a treat for my partners birthday. I felt the food was a little pricey for the choices available. Also we were quite a bit away from anything so if we wanted to have a drink together we wwre a bit stuck on places to go. However the room and amenities were great adn staff helpful. "

Food in the restaurant was good (but be warned - the chef obviously likes his chillies judging by my Arrabiata and my wife's King Prawns!) The pool/spa was great - everything you would want and very clean. Would recommend for a relaxing break - go on treat yourself or someone you love."

"Inn is perfectly situated within the walls of Caernarfon Castle, convenient to shops, restaurants and bars. Staff are uniformly friendly and welcoming. My room (#34) was in an old building but had been completely modernized inside, including the bathroom. Room was immaculate and had plenty of well-located electrical outlets. Bed and linens were comfortable. Couldn't find a thermostat but HVAC seemed to be centrally controlled. It was nice and cozy by day and cooled down by bedtime; ditto for the heated towel rack. Breakfast was tasty and came quickly, accompanied by a big smile. Cold items were help-yourself and hot foods cooked to order. Dining room breathed history, as did the bar. Dinner was piping hot and tasty. "
