Rooms at The Angel

"We stayed at The Angel because we were attending a function there. The staff were very pleasant but it is quite basic. There is no breakfast and nearest car park about 5 minute walk. The rooms were ok but plenty of room for improvement. Rooms were quite cold, no carpet on floor so getting out of bed onto a cold floor woke you up! There are no staff over night at the hotel, I wouldn’t stay again."

"The heating in our room wasn't working when we arrived but it was sorted whilst we had supper which was great. The information on the website needs to be changed to say that there is no parking and directions to the nearest car parks added. Other than that, a pleasant room and nice food both in the bar and at breakfast."

"Hotel and staff were very helpful, room and all facilities were excellent, if there was one little thing, our room did not have anywhere to hang a wet towel or wet bathrobe, hooks on the wall or back of door would be so helpful"

"If you like Travelodge formica probably not for you. Older property with varnished skirtings and painted furniture but immaculately kept and spotlessly clean. The owners’ attention to detail is second to none, has everything you need, good shower and not stingy with the coffee supplies. Pleasant dining room and nice bar area, freshly cooked breakfast as recommended by many others. Even has effective cctv covering the carpark (we have a soft top car). Would happily stay here again."

"A very warm welcome awaited after efficient communication before arrival! The house was exactly what we were after... clean and well-presented, comfortable and had everything needed for a base to explore the surrounding area. Fantastically located to explore the local area including the small, speculated beaches of Mwnt, Tresaith and Penbryn as well as the charming Cardigan. The host was very attentive, checking in and offering advice but always allowed us the space to explore the fantastic location and the welcoming farm animals. Highly recommended!"
