"The property was beautiful and the staff was great. Rooms were average. When deciding to stay there be aware of the hidden fees. You pay for parking...$40 a night. You pay for "resort fees"... $35 a night (beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, and shuttles). The beach directly in front of the hotel is loaded with huge rocks. If you want a sandy beach you have to drive further away from the resort and hope you get there early enough because you may not find parking. As nice as the hotel was, for the price, I probably would have stayed somewhere closer to a better beach."

"We stayed in the 2 king suite room 220 and it was huge. The air conditioner was small and didn’t cool the whole room but thankfully it wasn’t too hot. The room had a huge refrigerator and a sofa bed. It was clean and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the milk and cookies. The breakfast was good, we loved the waffle maker! It was close to the Oceanside soccer field and close to Carlsbad village. Wished we had time to visit the beach and outlet. We will definitely stay here again! We recommend this hotel 10/10!"
