"Initially, I thought the resort fee and valet costs were high given the room rate. However, we got an ocean view, free umbrella, chairs and boogie board rental with our room so it was fair. Great location, charming hotel, friendly staff! The restaurant on site, Piper, was not as good. The food was average for the high prices. We found the tacos one block up to be delicious!"

"Clean & comfy rooms, big balconies, plenty of free parking, easy walk to the beach & all the shops on the 101. Pastries, eggs & sausage breakfast, nice clean pool & hot tub. Kind & attentive staff. Coffee Keurig, fridge, hair drier, ironing board etc. Only down was horrible water pressure & very smelly shower drain, soaps-shampoo-conditioner hardly come out so takes forever to wash your hair."

"Awesome Breakfast. Nice pool and hot tub. We upgraded our room and essentially had a condo with 2 king beds which my kids loved. Only issue was the pool is supposed to be closed by 9pm and people were swimming in it much later than that which was noisy. Other than that no complaints!"
