"The room was very clean and tidy, and the hotel had noted my disability and put us in a room with a disabled shower and accessibility was great. The staff were all lovely and polite and they couldn't do enough to help when we asked. I would highly recommend. We did eat breakfast, but it was oily so spoiled it a bit, however the breakfast staff where all fabulpus and they remembered our preferences for drinks etc. All on all a beautiful venue, amazing staff and the pricea were spot on. Thank you to all for a pleasant stay."

"Our stay at the Golden Fleece was great! Easy check-in, lovely room. Food in the evening was great but we didn't have breakfast so can't comment. Easy walkable distance to James Herriot’s house. Parking very easy and felt secure! All in all very nice."

We had the sandwich and chips option but will have to go back for the Sunday lunch - it looked great and was obviously popular with regulars. Great drink options including landlord, dark landlord, black sheep etc, and reasonable priced cocktails. "
