"We were in the area for a surprise party and need a location for 1 night. This quaint home was perfect! We weren't to far from Glen Haven, party location. The home fit our large family, 9 of us perfectly. We were able to use the kitchen to make our "dishes to pass" found everything we forgot. This truly is a gem!"

"This property is exactly as advertised/described. The host was helpful and kind, the property was neat as a pin and so welcoming - seasonal flowering planter on the porch is a beautiful touch. Other personal touches were also much appreciated...cold bottled water and a water filtering pitcher were ready to go in the fridge, a few convenient snacks were available in the kitchen, and individually wrapped, quality makeup remover wipes were placed in the bathroom. The host left a personal welcome...

Beautiful ancient castle-like stone work waterfall cave and dipping pond.

"Our stay was cut short due to the weather. The location was good for going to Galena and around Dubuque. Were allowed to drop off our personal items early which was nice. Sad the hot tub had leak we were looking forward to using. The bed main floor was comfortable. My daughter stated upstairs was not and she didnt get a lot of sleep."
