"Great ambience with a large medieval entry, and timber ceilings. The room was spacious, with double doors overlooking an authentic narrow old Palermo street, filled with the life of locals living nearby. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside for a couple of over 60s was the climb up three flights of stairs - a real gym workout to counter all the pasta and pizzas. "

"The hotel is very convenient for the historic centre of Palermo also an easy walk to Centrale rail station (we went on to Rome by train after our stay). Room was well maintained and very clean. Breakfast was enjoyable but slightly disorganised (had run out of knives at one point on both mornings and plates on one) but the setting, a room clearly part of the old palace with a high arched ceiling, also good coffee individually made, more than made up. Reception staff were pleasant and helpful...

"This is one of the cases where the pictures must have been taken on the best day. There was a barking dog that made it hard to sleep and I could here dog foot steps on the tiles. The breakfast is decent but the room is noisy as they do the dishes in the room while you eat. "
