"We booked this lovely apartment for a week and ended up staying a month. It has the most amazing comfortable bed that was a joy to my bad back, after some of the very hard beds we have encountered while travelling. It is on the main strip in Empuriabrava just along from the lovely main harbour with its friendly cafes, it was nice to sit and watch the boats while having a drink in the evening. "We enjoyed our stay. Although we had asked we had no instructions about where to pick up the apartment keys, which led to much confusion. Having used HomeAway for vacations in many different places we have never had to hire bed linen & towels before, which we then had to arrange at very short notice from the office. We were also not aware that a cash deposit for the apartment was required. Apart from these initial inconveniences we enjoyed our stay. There were many cafes, restaurants, and bars...

"We only stayed one night so this is based on that short stay. Location is prime for this hotel. It is only a block or so from the beach with restaurants and a long promenade. Our room had a balcony that overlooked the pool, canal and marina. Parking is readily available right outside the hotel door. The staff at the front desk spoke English so communication was easy. "
