"This was the perfect location for our Venice stay. It is only a 5 minute walk to San Zaccaria Alilaguna boat service (for water transfer to airport and other island stops) and 8 minute walk to St. Mark’s square. You do not have to maneuver suitcases across bridges to get to the hotel from the boat stop. They have a luggage elevator inside so you do not have to carry luggage upstairs (no elevator for people if that is a need). The location was very quiet with 2 excellent restaurants adjacent to the property and a fabulous Venetian/Carnival mask shop 3 buildings down. We will definitely make sure to stay here again if we return to Venice. Our room had a king size bed, 2 twin beds for our kids, and a private full size bathroom (shower only). The staff was very friendly. The room was beautiful, comfortable for our family of 4, and clean. We left early at 5:15am and they even put together breakfast bags for us to take with us to the airport."

"This hotel had old European charm in the heart of Venice. The staff was very accommodating in helping us find dining locations and baggage transfers over the canals and bridges encountered in getting to their location. The breakfast buffet was extensive and compared favorably to American facilities."
