"The best thing about this property was our hostess Ilaria! She was friendly and accommodating. My sister and I shared a wonderful two day stay and would gladly return simply due to the friendliness of Ilaria. The building was wonderful and historic. "We took a private boat from the airport directly to the hotel. Upon arriving, the staff was so friendly and accommodating. We had a junior suite with canal view and found the room to be spacious and comfortable. Generous breakfasts were provided each morning, and the hotel’s restaurant easily rivals any other restaurant in Venice! "

The staff at Hotel da Bruno (which manages the apartments) were very helpful with everything we asked them for, including booking water taxis that picked us up from just behind the hotel. "We enjoyed our stay at this apartment in Venice. It is very centrally located and has a supermarket and dozens of restaurants nearby. It was a little difficult communicating with the staff, since there is no one on site. We were able to check in without issue, but our other questions went unanswered. The apartment is a bit shabby but overall a good place to stay in Venice. "
