"The pictures in the listing don't do the cabin justice. It's more beautiful in real life and has tons of character. There are many thoughtful touches, like dozens of books and a large supply of games. We were looking for a quiet and private place for a few days and this was perfect. The cabin is near the end of a dead-end road so traffic is minimal and there is lots of privacy on the deck. "We loved the cabin and location close to town. But the walkway to front door was unmanaged and in need of repair. Light bulb in kitchen was out and living room tv simply didn’t work. Couldn’t figure out how to turn spa off and old til lady day. I texted manager but no response on these issues. "

"Family fun over Thanksgiving. Farther from Idyllwild town center than on listing but still walkable. Very comfortable home. We were able to cook a full Thanksgiving meal, play games, enjoy the fire and watch Christmas movies. At the time we stayed, there was only one oven rack, which created timing issues with Thanksgiving meal and it would have been nice to have a broom & dustpan. Overall, enjoyable stay! Thank you!"

"Rustic property in the beautiful Idylwide. Very quiet, clean, generous with towels, but advise you to bring hand soap! Was very cold as elevation is greater than 6,000 feet, but the owner generously provided heaters which worked very well. Very helpful and responsive, beautiful area!!"

"Super cute cabin, nice and rustic (and nostalgic!) We enjoyed the hot tub after our adventures in Idyllwild, and the fully stocked kitchen was very appreciated. This is a great place to stay if you want a little place close to shops and trails. We'll definitely be back!"
