"The hotel amenities and staff were excellent! From 10:00 PM to 3 AM. There was nonstop street racing that was so loud I thought they were in my room. I did not sleep at all! When I mentioned it to the front desk at check out they said “yeah it happens all the time. You should’ve called the police”. Really!? Love the hotel will never stay there again."

"This was great they had a gym and the room was clean. Only thing was the Lighting wasn’t very good but it was a great stay. Breakfast was great too! "

"When we got to our room the toilet would not stop running, told the front desk put us in a different room. The first room had two queen beds and a fold out couch, the second room only had two queen beds. When I told the front desk because I didn’t want to be charged for a bigger room when we couldn’t stay in that one she said that they don’t have rooms like that. The pool was kinda gross!! "We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Fort Des Moines. Room was comfortable and clean. The restaurants, both Proudfoot and Hibnob, were great. The bartender at Proudfoot was the best!"

"Our room was not very clean. We found old candy canes half eaten on the floor so who knows how long they’ve been there. Our sheets were not clean. We enjoyed the pool and breakfast and the rooms are big. "
