"I can't say this property was everything I hoped for because it was in fact VERY much more than I had hoped for. When visiting New York I generally stayed out of town maybe 30 or 40 miles away to be at an affordable property. In the future, all my stays will be at properties of this owner, in mid-town Manhattan because it was at least as affordable as the out of town properties and probably even moreso -- and the quality and available options were so much more superior. "I stayed here with my sister and my dog for the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show and it was lovely! The apartment was super cute and comfortable. The only downside is the lit billboards outside of the windows, but it only affects the first bedroom, and we just used a blanket to cover the window to make it darker. There is a great little pizza shop around the corner that we ate at, and parking just the next block over. I would definitely stay here again in the future it available. "

"We would very happily stay here again. Contact with the host as we arrived into JFK was good. Payment was taken prior to arrival and access details provided. Clean, lots of extra towels and bed linen for the sofa bed. "

"The apartment was clean (yes, it's an older building with an older bathroom) and the beds were comfy. Amenities are minimal but we had everything we needed. We comfortably slept 4 adults (2 couples). If you're looking for an easy crash pad but plan to be out in the city most of the time this works."

"The apartment is the first floor of a 2-sorry house. It was very clean and well-lit, and had everything we needed. Beds were quite comfortable. Shower had good water pressure and plenty of hot water for all of us. Upstairs occupants were very quiet. Having a dedicated parking space was wonderful, as we rented a car. Uber and Lyft rides were easy to schedule also, always someone nearby. Public transportation would be tricky. The neighborhood felt safe and we found several good local restaurants...
