"My only issue was the low toilets, and definitely need new bed pillows and the smell of Marijuana through the vents"

"Love the concept. Felt more like our apartment than a hotel, and the little food shop in the lobby felt like raiding the fridge rather than shopping . Great location, all staff where friendly and helpful. Above average free breakfast."

Downtown Phoenix Hotel

Downtown Phoenix Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"Downtown Phoenix has a lot of old motels, and this is one of them. You drive in and it's a bunch of downstairs and upstairs rooms with a balcony, all overlooking a parking lot -- but the rooms themselves have had a chic update that's a mix of old-fashioned (black and white tiles in the bathroom; matching 50's style fun color microwave and mini-fridge) and modern (huge art painted on the headboard wall, industrial-style furnishings). The room was clean and surprisingly quiet as to noise from other guests, even though the hotel was full. Be aware there is a concert venue across the street, however (The Van Buren), which is great if you're attending a show there (or two blocks down, the AZ Financial Theatre), but maybe not as fun if music past midnight is going to be a problem. Overall I found it to be nicer than expected, and a good value."

"This resort was just what I needed close to convention center and all other restaurants. It is a boutique hotel very clean, bed was comfortable the young man at the front desk i think Tony really nice, he arranged a fridge for me and warmed my food for me.
