"I stayed at the Victory Hotel for 5 nights and had a most enjoyable experience. The room was exceptionally clean and housekeeping was wonderful. I especially enjoyed the towel warmers in the bathroom ...Breakfast items were diverse and plentiful and the scrambled eggs and orange juice were delicious. The location was in the heart of Gamla Stan - walkable to many cafes, shopping and the train station. Staff were polite and helpful. Highly recommend Victory Hotel and would stay here again. "

"This is in the center of Gamla Stan. We got a corner room and it’s pretty big. We were there early May and weather was warm so we had the windows open. With the windows open, it was a little lou, early evening so I had to use ear plugs. The hotel is like a little museum, so cute. The receptionists are all very nice and helpful. I love the location of this hotel, cleanliness, size of room, breakfast, and staff and moderately priced 👍"

"Everything was great about our stay - good breakfast, clean rooms, excellent location, black out shades that actually worked - except for the blond woman with the black glasses who worked at the reception desk. She was constantly haranguing guests and her co-workers like a school principal. I was scolded for bringing a hot dog into the lobby, my daughter heard it for opening a door she thought was a bathroom, another guest was chastised for leaving her luggage in the wrong place, and another...
