"I really liked this place. Despite being a studio, the room was large and the placement of things in the room was well thought out. They provided a lot of room necessities (soap, cleaning products, coffee, tea, sugar) and everything was absolutely pristine. The location is back from the street and incredibly quiet - I slept quite well here, and made my own dinners in the kitchen. Convenience and grocery stores are only a couple of blocks away."

"Just a walk through parks to the old town on an upscale street. Lido’s around provide inexpensive food options with authentic Latvian foods. The buffet breakfast is nice but really could use more fresh fruits and salad options. Strawberries were in season but absent and a lack of nice salad options was a bit disappointing. As well fresh eggs rather than using powdered eggs for the scrambled eggs should be used at a 5 star hotel as well as other egg options. "

"Great hotel a block from the heart of old town parking available underground which was very helpful for me. Walk out the hotel and ur a block from the little Bridge that drops u in old town on the main long shopping road which Leads to everything and all the tourist sites. Great staff as well "

"Hotel has the feel of a castle. Room with high ceiling and nice decor. Ten minutes' walk to the train station. Plenty of convenience stores and budget restaurants (E.g. Lido) nearby. No kettle in the room."
