"The so-called breakfast in this hotel is nothing to write home about. This is the area that needs all the improvement in the world. Service is also very slow, and none of the waiters can explain the menu in English. The beds are comfy, though, and the local area quiet. "

"Cockroaches and other bugs in the room and the bathroom/toilet. No pest or insect control. It was warm and sometimes hot. No portable fans available as there is no air conditioning in the hotel. Staff is ok but do not speak much English. A lot of maintenance is required as many things are missing from rooms such as hair dryer etc. "

"Ik ben niet opgehaald van de airport. Hotel vanaf 2 dagen voor vertrek geprobeerd te bellen, men nam telefoon niet op. In de boekingsgegevens staat het mailadres van het hotel niet. Locatie zoals aangegeven op boekingsgegevens, klopte niet, kon dus het hotel niet vinden midden in de nacht. Taxichauffeur kon ook niets vinden, het blijkt een nieuw hotel te zijn. Moest dus naar ander hotel. Kortom, alles mislukt. Heb restitutie aangevraagd bij Hotels.com."

"Our stay was horrible and we will never use stayz again either, we tried several times to address our concerns with host and he ignored us and we contacted stays and they also ignored us. The accommodation was not as described online, it was unsafe, the showers leaked and made the floors very wet, slipping hazard for my kids. The shower pressure was weak, the doors and windows didn’t lock, also a hazard for my young children, wires hanging out of power points, advertised generator but power goes out and we need to walk 8 flights of stairs with my young children to get to our level at the top, will never stay here again, it was absolute robbery 80 a night! I will also never use stayz again due to them having no care for us, just like the host, how you get away with this I don’t know! Shame on you."

"For any African Americans traveling to Addis abbaba in the future I recommend this hotel it’s out of the way of the rest of busy life Addis Abbaba more towards the industrial where everywhere you walk and talk you are meeting genuine raw uncut Ethiopian people who are willing to assist you with anything. Please check out the Tana fish house and Bella restaurant top notch for this area. What can I say about the staff if you are more worried about additional amenities don’t come here they have what you need clean room hot water 24/7 backup generator restaurant pickup from airport service and most important they will bend over backwards for your service. Please support them it’s for me was a neighborhood friendly community Thank you"

"Very nice view over the city and is one of the best places to sit and watch the lights of Addis. The room was functional and the water in the shower was hot which is a very welcome thing. The room was a little noisy as the balcony door was not sound proof so the stray dogs barked all night and there was no way to reduce the sound. The room was clean and had lots of space. There is an amazing Spa in the building which is well-recommended."
