Beautiful, amazing food and service.

The TRS Yucatan was part of a larger group of related hotels on a very large beautiful beach and jungle property. The butlers at our villa, especially Emilio, were very welcoming and helpful as we oriented ourselves to the many facets of the resort. The transportation cart service was quick and the drivers very friendly.....though by following the seaside/beach everything was also very walkable. Food was excellent....green juice at Helios was my favorite!

This is by far the best resort in Riviera Maya! This was our second time there and we will be back. The property is stunning. Natural mangroves run all throughout. The walking on the grounds is beautiful. You have access to all four properties no matter which one you stay at. We love Kantenah, but Colonial and White Sands are equally great. My husband and I came to Akumal Bay for our honeymoon and we absolutely loved our stay! The service was fantastic and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We would absolutely come here again and plan to do so in the future. I highly recommend having a photo shoot done with their on site photographer Conrado who is amazing at what he does and I am SO GLAD we got these pictures to commemorate our special time here.

My wife and my 4 daughters stayed at the Barcelo Maya Palace to celebrate my daughter’s 15th Birthday. We loved every minute of our stay. The staff were friendly. The service exceptional. Olivia Oceanfront was the perfect place for our bachelorette trip in Tulum! The rooms were beautiful, clean, and spacious, which made our stay even more comfortable and memorable. We also loved how easy and convenient the digital check-in process was. The property has amazing amenities, including beautiful rooftop areas, a jacuzzi, a beach club, restaurants, and a gym. Beautiful hotel. We loved our room with the private pool/jet tub, as well as another main pool that overlooks the ocean. The entire staff was welcoming and went the extra mile to accommodate us. There is an onsite restaurant where we enjoyed a delicious breakfast and dinner as well. We did not have the chance to see it during our stay, but there is also a cenote down the road that is bike riding distance. Bicycles are available to ride. I would love to return again.

The only disappointment was the inability to make restaurant reservations in advance. We were looking forward to enjoying the different restaurant options as promoted vs buffet every morning and night (tho no complaints about the food at the buffet), but even tho we attempted to book right after arrival, we were able to secure only two restaurant reservations.

First and foremost: The food and drinks were phenomenal. Everything that we were served all week was exceptional. Drinks were never watered down, food didn’t taste cheap or frozen. Make sure you take advantage of your private host. You communicate via text on WhatsApp, and they will facilitate everything for you from dinner reservations, booking taxis into town, decorating the room for a birthday, etc. We had Ricardo and he was so easy to work with. Wow!!! If you are looking to relax in nature this is the place. The hosts and staff were amazing making sure our every need was met including getting a Drs appointment for my son. They would also prepare us meals on request. At night you can enjoy the fire by the cenote with the glowing lights inside the caves. During the day the birds are very entertaining we even spotted a toucan. Honestly we can’t say enough about this heaven on earth. We will definitely be returning next year.

We stayed for 5 days for our honeymoon and everything was absolutely wonderful. We had complimentary room service which was wonderful but the buffets and a la cartes were amazing as well. Everything was very flavorful, and the options were endless. Our room was huge with a king bed and jacuzzi tub on our balcony. The maids made us towel animals each day, and consistently stocked our mini fridge. The beach did have a lot of seaweed the first day we were there but it was cleaned up the next day...

The property is great. The room was beautiful. Bed was a bit soft for my liking so I didn’t get a good sleep. But everything else was perfect. I do have mixed feelings about the fact that it is located inside the Tulum National Park, which is a government protected area. For one, it is kind of confusing to get there because google maps still shows the entrance on the north side (near the Mayan Ruins) but access is actually on the south side (where Parque del Jaguar is located). Beautiful hotel, located at a peaceful beach. The staff are really nice and helpful. The restaurant is ok but they make Great pizza. Only issue we had was transportation - the hotel is pretty remote and in order to visit other attractions (xel-ha, cenotes, akumal...) you need a taxi/rent a car. Taxis are pretty expensive so rent a car.

We stayed at this hotel third time for the last 5 years and everything is perfect: big variety in food, very helpful staff, Nice beach, a lot of swimming pools on the territory. If you booking this property through the Expedia you’ll get vip access to all hotels and restaurants and beaches.

The staff was outstanding. The front desk staff was super helpful and friendly with answering any questions I had, and they were very clear with everything. Our servers were amazing. Antonio and Ramon at the buffet in Sian Kaan we’re super awesome and took great care of us! Pedro at the front helping with bags and scheduling a taxi was super awesome and friendly.
