"The smaller rooms are like those in NYC but if you just need to sleep,it's fine. The bathroom is cramped with a very uncomfortable shower that requires some contortion to get into, not for older people or those with joint problems. Location was excellent, across the street from the beautiful Hyde Park with plenty of transportation available. The air conditioner was marginal we had to open the window, not easy...something to check out before going in hot months...we were there in June,still cool...

"This hotel was in a most convenient area, close to Covent Garden and all means of transportation. The staff was friendly (although some told us wrong directions a couple of times) and the entire place very clean. The breakfast was the same each day, with runny scrambled eggs and no berries among the fresh fruit. However, the coffee and teas were delicious and a variety of fresh breads. Two things were not so great, however. There were no shelves or furniture with drawers in the room,...

"It was a pleasant surprise to stay at the Mandeville Hotel. The room was very clean and a nice size. The restaurant was very nice and the staff were very attentive. The staff in the Hotel were very pleasant and extremely professional. Which is very nice to these days ! Would definitely come back. "
