"From start to finish everything was just perfect! Directions to find the hut were clear and check in was easy, the hut was beautiful and had everything you need for a lovely little weekend away. The hot tub was amazing - sitting out under the stars enjoying a drink or two! We ordered more wood for the hot tub and it was dropped off to us in no time at all. We took a short drive to Belvoir castle for coffee & cake - a nice little place to have a look round if you fancy getting out and about....

"Woodpecker Lodge was the middle one of three lodges situated about 100yds back from the lake. This is a very rural, spacious and quiet site with a good mix of lodges, caravans and camping. The reception was warm and friendly and the rules of the site, given to us on a leaflet when we arrived, were clear but unobtrusive and made good sense. We would certainly return. The Bulls Head in nearby Clipston was a great choice for food too."

"This was not what we expected. The description said there was a bathroom - there wasn’t. It said there were three rooms it was only two the heating was inadequate. There was no instructions for cooker which was set too low. "
